This page provides information on how Authorized Users of the Pergamino mobile application (developed by Pergamino) can request the deletion of their account and associated data.
Important Note for Enterprise Users:Pergamino is an enterprise platform primarily used by organizations ("Customers") who provide access to their employees and other authorized personnel ("Authorized Users"). In most cases, your organization acts as the data controller for your account and the content created within your company's Pergamino instance.
Therefore, the primary way to request account deletion and data removal is typically through your organization's designated Pergamino administrator or relevant IT/HR department.
They manage user accounts and control the data associated with your company's use of the Service according to their internal policies.
How to Request Account and Data Deletion:Contact Your Organization's Administrator (Recommended First Step): Please contact your employer's IT department, HR department, or the designated Pergamino administrator within your organization to request account deletion. They have the tools and authority to process this request according to your company's policies and agreements with Pergamino.
Direct Request to Pergamino (If Necessary): If you are unable to request deletion through your organization, or if you have specific questions about data Pergamino might process independently (e.g., data from direct support interactions), you can contact us directly.
Submit your request via email to: info@pergamino.app
Subject Line: Please use "Account Deletion Request"
Required Information: Include your full name, the email address associated with your Pergamino account, and the name of your organization to help us verify your identity and locate your account.
Verification: Please note that we will need to verify your identity before processing a direct deletion request to protect your privacy and security. We may need to coordinate with your organization's administrator.
Data Deletion Scope:Upon receiving a verified deletion request (typically processed via your organization's administrator), Pergamino will take steps to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
Data Generally Deleted:Your user profile information (name, email, title, profile picture, etc.).Your account credentials.
Personal usage data directly linked solely to your individual account that is not aggregated or anonymized.
Data Generally Retained (and Why):
Content Created for Your Organization: Videos, comments, posts, and other content you created and shared within your organization's workspaces are typically considered assets controlled by your organization (the Customer) and may be retained according to their policies and our agreement with them, even after your individual account is deleted. Your name may still be associated with this historical content unless otherwise requested by your organization.
Anonymized/Aggregated Data: Usage data that has been anonymized or aggregated for statistical analysis, service improvement, or reporting purposes may be retained as it no longer identifies you personally.
Legal & Compliance Obligations: We may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes (like security and fraud prevention), or to comply with contractual obligations to our Customers.
Backup Archives: Data may remain in our backup archives for a limited period according to our standard backup schedules before being permanently deleted.
Retention Period:Deleted data is typically removed from our active systems promptly upon processing a verified request. Data retained for legal or backup purposes is kept according to applicable laws and our internal data retention policies, as outlined in our main Privacy Policy.
Contact Us:If you have questions about this process, please contact your organization's administrator first. For general questions about our data practices, you can reach us at info@pergamino.app.
